IVF Success Rates at London Women's Clinic
When choosing a fertility clinic, success rates matter — but so does understanding what those numbers really mean for your individual circumstances. At London Women's Clinic, we publish our data openly, compare it honestly against the national average, and take the time to explain what it means for you personally. Because the most important success rate is yours.

CARE THAT STARTS WITH UNDERSTANDING YOU
Fertility success rates can vary widely. Age, diagnosis, medical history, ovarian reserve and the treatment recommended all play a part. This can make the numbers feel confusing or even overwhelming.
That’s why we focus first on you. During your consultation, we take time to understand your history, answer your questions, and explain what your individual chances may look like. Our aim is to give you honest, personalised guidance so you feel informed, supported and in control of your next steps.
What Our Patients Have Achieved
Every number reflects a real patient journey.
From IVF to donor egg treatment, this is a snapshot of the families we’ve helped create through personalised fertility care.
Our Outcomes, Explained Clearly
What can affect your chances of success?
Many people worry about whether they are “too late” or whether something is wrong. In reality, fertility outcomes are influenced by a combination of factors.
Understanding these factors helps us recommend the treatment most appropriate for you. Our aim is always to give you clear information, without judgement.

How we support your best possible chance
Our above-average success rates are the result of four decades of clinical experience, world-leading laboratory technology, and treatment plans that are built entirely around the individual.
At London Women’s Clinic, we support your chances through:
Including time-lapse monitoring and AI-assisted embryo selection, supporting careful embryo development and helping guide personalised treatment decisions.
Including our Implantation Clinic, PGT-A genetics services, donor programmes, surrogacy pathways and intra-partner donation.
Clinical leadership from some of the UK's most respected fertility specialists
We work in partnership with you, adapting your care as your journey evolves.
Fertility care led by experience and expertise
Our clinical leaders bring decades of experience in fertility medicine, research and patient care. Many contribute to national and international advances in reproductive medicine, helping shape best practice across the field. Just as importantly, they understand the emotional weight of fertility treatment — and the importance of listening, explaining and supporting patients at every stage.
Understanding the Numbers
Success rates can feel difficult to interpret. We believe it is important that you understand what the figures really mean before making any decisions.
Per cycle refers to how many live births are achieved from embryo transfers created during a single IVF cycle. Some patients may have more than one embryo transfer from the same egg collection before achieving a pregnancy. This measure helps explain the chance of having a baby from one egg collection.
Per patient refers to how many patients achieve a live birth after completing their treatment. This may include more than one egg collection or embryo transfer within the same type of treatment. It helps show, overall, how many patients go on to have a baby following treatment.
Per embryo transferred describes the number of live births for each individual embryo transferred. This is the reporting method preferred by the HFEA, as it shows the chance of a live birth from a single embryo. Where two embryos are transferred, both are included in the calculation.
During your consultation, we explain how these figures relate to your own situation, so you can make decisions based on clarity rather than uncertainty.

From Barriers to Belonging: What The Familymakers Show Tells Us About the Future
On Saturday 18th April, 600 people walked through the doors of the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London for the fourth Familymakers Show — and the energy in the room felt like something that has been a long time in the making. Because in many ways, it has.
Ella's Story: The Embryo that Changed Everything
"If she hadn't made that phone call, I would never have known that embryo had a chance..." At 46, having already been through three IVF cycles and preparing to begin donor egg treatment, Ella had almost given up on the idea of becoming a mother using her own eggs. Then an embryologist at London Women's Clinic made a call that changed everything. This is the story of one frozen embryo, a DNA swab sent from overseas, and the four-year-old girl who is now the light of her mother's life — and why advances in genetic embryo testing are making the seemingly impossible possible.
How PGT-A helped one patient create her family
Michelle was 39 when she walked into a London Women's Clinic open day, already certain of one thing: she didn't want to waste time. What followed was two IVF cycles, a devastating first round where no embryos were chromosomally normal, a mosaic result, and an embryo that came back from retesting as something extraordinary — euploid, chromosomally normal, and ready to become her daughter.
